Vet Visit: Shelter Update

This week got off to a bit of a rocky start! Unfortunately, two of our furry friends in Room B (shy cats) seemed unwell and that got us really worried. The volunteers noticed that Yumi and Cassie weren't eating enough and their eyes seemed irritated. We called Michie Sato - a longtime JCN supporter, who then immediately volunteered to drive us to the vet.

The vet diagnoised Yumi with a stomach infection and an inflamed gut and Cassie with a mild cold. They both had irritated and swollen eyes, so the vet gave them injections, and some antibiotics and eye drop medicine for treatment at home.
