Jin

Jin’s been through a lot and was originally found having to fend for himself outdoors. We rescued him from a bad situation where he was being abused by someone for merely existing. But since we took him in in March 2021, he’s been enjoying a much safer and quieter life in our Tokyo shelter.

As scary as he might look at first glance, Jin’s just a harmless but scruffy-looking old man. He has a very laid-back personality and doesn’t bother anyone, though he can be nervous around humans. Jin isn’t a huge fan of people, but he does tolerate touch and medical care (such as pill giving or ointment application) without much fuss.

Jin is FIV+, which makes his immune system weaker than normal cats; has a face wound that needs time and medication to heal; and is missing part of his left leg, which makes him hobble a bit. Because of these unique health issues, Jin will need to go to an equally unique and loving home who can accept all his battle scars and offer him the VIP life of relaxation he deserves.
