We are excited that you want to write for us! If you are interested in contributing original articles about pet, and animal welfare, please submit your article after reading our guidelines and terms of submission below.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
- You must be the sole author of the article submitted.
- Aim for between 500-750 words.
- Articles must not present information or opinions that are starkly in opposition to fundamental guidelines regarding pet and animal welfare.
- We're looking for articles that teach our readers something or are otherwise engaging, particularly while coming from a positive point of view.
- We do not accept posts that are ONLY promotional in nature (unless you are discussing a important cause). Posts must meet our requirement of being useful and relevant to our audience. If you are interested in promoting something, please contact us to see if it qualifies as a news feature on our site.
- Please hyperlink or list all original sources or references.
- Please provide photos with your submission, if possible (permission must be obtained from original source). Photo format: web-optimized JPEG
- Please include your bio at the bottom of the article (in 75 words or less) and attach a personal photo (optional), unless already on file.
- We reserve the right to reject submissions at our discretion.
- Articles will be reviewed and may be edited to comply with our guidelines prior or after publication.
