J.J.'s mother, Lolita, was emaciated and heavily pregnant when she was rescued from a colony of starving cats in Inawashiro, Fukushima. Within hours of arriving at the JCN shelter, Lolita gave birth to four kittens, the smallest of which did not survive. J.J. was the first born of Lolita's little ones and is a loving older sibling to brothers, Martin and Steve, and cousins, Isabelle, Winks, and Tokino. J.J. fooled us, and for some time, we thought him to be a girl! He was formerly called Heleena. J.J. is a sweet and affectionate kitten who loves to play. He is currently staying at the JCN shelter in Tokyo, but can be available for foster care or adoption in other parts of Japan.
