Description

--ON HOLD--

Tsubaki was emaciated, and heavily pregnant when she was rescued from a colony of starving cats in Inawashiro, Fukushima.  Shortly after arriving at the JCN shelter, Tsubaki gave birth to three kittens.  Tsubaki is an extremely dedicated mother, providing excellent care to her babies, Isabelle, Winks, and Tokino.  She is best friends with Lolita, another pregnant mom rescued from the same colony at the same time.  Lolita also gave birth to three kittens, and together, Tsubaki and Lolita share motherhood responsibilities for all six kittens.  We suspect that the two litters may share the same father, or are at least closely related.  Tsubaki is a very friendly and loving cat.   Tsubaki is currently staying at the JCN shelter in Tokyo, but can be available for foster care or adoption in other parts of Japan.
