Belle and her sister, Anna, were just a few months old when they were found struggling to survive in a large cat colony in Kyoto. They were sick and emaciated, often bullied by the older cats who would chase the little kittens away from the food doled out by a local TNR group. One of the TNR group volunteers took pity on the tiny sisters, and before long, Anna and Belle found themselves aboard their first shinkansen ride, headed for the JCN shelter in Tokyo.
Belle is a sweet but shy little girl who depends on her sister, Anna, a lot. Belle can be a bit timid in new situations and she often looks to Anna for support and reassurance. These little girls are closely bonded and are looking for a home where they will be able to grow up together. Belle is currently staying in a foster home in Saitama, but may be available for adoption in other parts of Japan.
