Addy, our fluffy female dog
Yesterday, our three toothless cats and our two dogs went for a vet trip thanks to Miyu-san (our new part-time volunteer) who drived them to Koriyama.
Addy and Chacha need to have their teeth brushed everyday and Chacha got a lick guard cone because of a skin issue he has on his inner thigh. He looks quite sorry for himself but he will get used to it. It should be removed in a week! Meanwhile, the volunteers have to brush and clean his fur, give him daily medication and put a cream on his thigh.
We wanted to thank everyone who donated as it is helping us paying vetenerian bills that means keeping our animals healthy.
Be brave Chacha!

In case you don't already have enough cat beds...Basically, what's NOT a cat bed in your place, other than maybe the CAT beds? So here's a great way to trick your cat into thinking that this is not the CAT bed. This is a SUITCASE (cool!) or a COMPUTER (way cool!) or a WINE BARREL (wait, what?).
In order to thank our amazing volunteers, we have started introducing them to you. Today, one of our ex-volunteers is here to tell you about her time at the shelter. Laura volunteered at JCN Inawashiro for 7 months, putting her name in our list of long-term volunteers.
