Winter is still very much upon us here in the magical valleys of Inawashiro. From the outside the shelter seems like a scene from a fairytale, with the snow covered peaks of Mount Bandai looming in the backdrop. Dog walks with Addy and Cha Cha become daily adventures across the surrounding scenic terrain, challenging the depths of the snow and the intensity of the blizzards. All the more satisfying with the knowledge of returning to a house filled with 24 friendly felines.
