Love your pets? So does Japan Cat Network! Let’s share the love with the pets of Fukushima who aren’t so lucky as yours.
After the Fukushima nuclear incident in 2011, as many as 10,000 cats and dogs were tragically left homeless and alone in restricted evacuated areas. Ever since, Japan Cat Network has been helping people help these vulnerable pets. They need food, medical care, and lots of hugs until they find their forever home. And they need your help to get it!
Valentines Day is the purrfect occasion to share the love and host A Sweet Soirée! Host a benefit party for our furry friends - whether it’s a casual little get together or an all-out themed event - and we’ll help you make it super easy! It’s the most fun you’ll ever have helping save the lives of cats and dogs.
It could be an afternoon tea at your home, workplace or school, a themed party, a picnic in a park, an online meetup - we’re excited to see what awesome ideas you come up with!
If you provide your guest list and emails beforehand, we can even send out personalised e-invites for you. Stay tuned for our printable invitations, greeting cards, decorations and other artwork we’re working on to make your party a breeze.
Check out our Pinterest boards for some of our theme, recipe and decoration ideas.
Use the hashtag #JapanCatNetwork to tag your party snaps and pet selfies on Instagram and Pinterest, or send them to adminjapancatnetwork.org, and we’ll share the funniest/weirdest/cutest.
